Did Ardi Head Up Human Evolution Before Lucy? - AiG puts their YEC spin on a new study that claims that Ardi (Ardipithecus ramidus) was in the human ancestral line.

 

S.A.D. Days - This article asks whether or not Noah and his family were affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) when they were on the ark.  We didn't even know this was a problem for Noah.  It appears to merely be a fund-raising article to highlight the planned building of The Ark Encounter, which currently is falling way short of funding.

What Percentage is Acceptable to You? -  Discusses the percentage of young people who are leaving the church.  Their solution...equip your children with CMI resources, which are young earth.  However, CMI is blind to the fact that THEY are the problem.  When you teach your children that YEC is all there is, and then when they get older, they learn that YEC is not right, they leave the church. 

To most YEC families, it's either "the YEC way or the highway."  There are no alternatives.  YEC children are set up for failure.  If however, they were taught they could believe in an old earth and God, then they would not have a crisis of faith, and would not have to choose between science and the Bible.

Old DNA Causes New Problems for Human Evolution - This article from Reasons to Believe discusses the recent isolation of mitochondrial DNA from a 400,000 year old femer of a Homo heidelbergensis. Reasons to Believe frequently posts articles against evolution (because evolution is in conflict with their model of creation).  While it may raise problems for human evolution, it merely shows that we are just beginning to piece together our past.  Theistic evolutionists need not worry.
