Debate Answers: Radiometric Dating - A reprint of a 2009 article in Answers Magazine.  A short article on radiometric dating.  It questions the assumptions (1: Original # of atoms, 2: Rate of Decay, and 3: Daughter atoms all produced by decay), but does not present any evidence to disprove these assumptions.

 

An Initial Estimate toward Identifying and Numbering Extant Tuatara, Amphisbaena, and Snake Kinds - From a YEC perspective...how to fit all the animals on the Ark, explanation number ∞.  From an OEC perspective...trying to impress YEC readers (financial supporters) with scientific talk.

Sermon Ideas - CMI hopes to help preachers who want to preach YEC, by giving them some ideas for teaching (i.e. brainwashing) their church members.  OEC preachers don't have this problem...they can just preach what Genesis and science are at face value, without having to twist the science to make it fit Genesis.

Speedy Glaciers Trample Multiple Ice-Age Theories - This article describes a glacier in Greenland that moved more than 6 feet per hour during the summer of 2012.  The author then mentions that people who accept an old earth believe in multiple glaciations (as opposed to the single Ice Age YEC theory). He states: "secular explanations for how these multiple ice ages were generated (...) are simply inadequate.  However, he fails to explain why.  In fact, he gives no evidence of how this fast moving glacier disproves the multiple glaciations that we see in the geologic past.  I see no evidence of the multiple ice age theory being trampled by this article.  The only thing trampled is the poor scientific claims made here with no supporting evidence.

 

Creation Today

 

The Creation Today Show gives a 28 minute video (Season 3, Episode 22) about "Why Teaching Creation Is Essential." The tag line says "“Paradise created. Paradise lost. Paradise restored. And it all points to Jesus.” Hey, that's a line that OEC's believe in too, but without all the YEC nonsense (or non-science).
