Christ and the Ark of Noah - Yes, Christ referred to Noah. This does not mean, however, that it proves the earth is young. Noah fits fine within an old earth theology as well...and since science agrees with an old earth, its a much better solution than YEC.

National Geographic Claims Creationists are at War with Science - YEC's actually love science...but what they call science is really pseudo-science, that does not support their claims of a young earth. I agree with some points, such as the one that says skeptics are good for science. We should examine scientific claims to see if they are true. The scientific community does this through peer review. What the YEC community calls an examination of science does not amount to peer review, but rejection/reinterpretation based on a YEC worldview. If they actually had valid scientific critiques, they would submit them for peer review, and they would stand up to scrutiny. However, we all know that they can easily be dismissed scientifically.
