Debate Answers: How did Plants Survive the Flood? - More damage control from AiG on issues that were raised in the Nye/Ham debate.  AiG's simple answer...

The Bible states there was a worldwide Flood.
We see plants today.
Therefore plants survived the Flood.

If you are trying to convince someone, and you use this argument, you have lost after the first sentence, since there is no scientific evidence for a worldwide flood.  Unfortunately, this type of argument is about as 'scientific' as it gets for young earth creationism.  For a short answer, see this answer from our YEC Argument Index.

 

Lizard Breath Fails to Support Kinship with Birds - Young earth spin on a news article featured in Nature.  Discusses the breathing systems of birds, monitor lizards, and crocodiles.  Their take on why they have some breathing features in common...they were all designed by the same Designer (God).  We agree, but to a scientist similarity in design does not mean "God did it." It could have happened through direct creation of each species by God, or through theistic evolution.

God's Not Dead Movie Review - CMI is not happy with the movie.  Spoiler alert - don't read if you plan on watching the movie.  Nope, God is not dead. But hopefully, one day soon YEC will be dead.
