Americans Question the Big Bang - YEC's are making a big deal out of this new survey, which relates that 51% of Americans are not confident that the Big Bang is true.  This doesn't mean that YEC's are winning the battle over the big bang. It simply means that the average person on the street, without college degrees in the sciences, are not knowledgeable enough to determine that the Big Bang was real.  Concerning the poll, which was conducted online, 59% of respondents were located in the south and midwest, otherwise known as the Bible Belt area. Only 18% were from the northeast.
