Feedback: Will Ken Ham "Crumble to Scientific Facts" in the Debate - Merely more hype from AiG to promote the upcoming debate.  As I've stated before, YEC debates are a complete waste of time.  Ken Ham is not going to say, "Hmm, I never thought of that...I guess evolution is true."  The YEC mentality prevents them from accepting any evidence contrary to YEC...even if such evidence proves conclusively that the earth is old.

 

Fish Fins Are Not Fingers That Failed - This article tries to cast doubt upon recent news stories about scientific research into the evolution of fingers.  For theistic evolutionists, nothing to worry about.  We are only just beginning to figure out how evolution works.  Since our knowledge is not "full" and "perfect," YECs will always have something to say that disproves evolution in their eyes.  Just because we don't understand it fully, does not mean that it did not happen.  Progressive creationists, OEC's who don't believe in evolution, may find the article interesting.

Dinosaur Soft Tissue - This article reports on the ongoing research into dinosaur soft tissue.  Since research into soft tissue survival in fossils is relatively new, scientists are trying to get an understanding of the processes that preserved the tissue.  Since we cannot bury a sample, and wait a million years to see what happens, we must rely upon other means to understand it.  This will always give the YEC excuses not to believe in the old age of these fossils.  Just because scientists don't fully understand the processes involved, does not mean that the alternative (YEC) is correct.
