In 1977 a Japanese fishing trawler snagged a plesiosaur carcass

Response: 

1. Young earth creationists are divided on this one.  Young earth ministries Answers in Genesis and the Institute for Creation Research denounce this claim

2. There is ample evidence which shows that this was a basking shark, and not a plesiosaur

3. Even if it was a plesiosaur, this would not be a problem for old earth creationists.  For more, see Living Fossil
