Response:
Carbon dating is known not to work for samples older than 50,000 years. To prove their claims, some creationists misuse carbon dating by attempting to date something that is millions of years old, or they try to date samples which are contaminated. They then use these results to claim carbon dating is unreliable
Carbon dating is calibrated with tree-ring data, and shows a perfect correlation for each of the previous 11,000 years. Testing of items of known historical age has also validated the method
