Different measurement techniques validate each other and give consistent results. Consistent results cannot be explained by chance or systematic error in decay rates
Radiometric dates are consistent with nonradiometric dating methods (see TalkOrigins link below for details)
The young earth creationist claim comes from a few bad dates. They ignore the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of good dates
