Argument:
If the world really is billions of years old, then erosion would have flattened all the earth's mountains, and we would have no mountains today

Response:
This ignores the fact that mountains are still being built today via volcanism and plate tectonics. As the landscape erodes, new landscape is formed elsewhere
If all mountains formed within the last 6,000 years, then why do the mountain ranges of the earth all look like they are different ages. For instance, the Appalachians are much older and more eroded than the Rocky Mountains. Given the young earth model, they should all be the same
