In 1955 Fernand Navarra found hand-hewn wood in a wall of ice at the 13,540 foot level. He retrieved a small sample. In 1969, he discovered two more sites with wood

All of these wood samples were dated via radiocarbon, and they are all from after the time of Christ. Noah lived before Christ came to earth
Navarra was accused by his friends of attempting to purchase old wood from an old building and planting it on Ararat. Two other people wrote that they have firsthand knowledge of his fraudulent claims
