Argument:
In 1936 Hardwicke Knight was kidnapped on Ararat and later released. While he was lost on the mountain, he found timbers of dark, soft wood on the north side, just below the ice pack

Response:
According to the story, the wood was so soft it deteriorated quickly. There is no evidence to support this claim
Since other expeditions have carried and left wood on the mountain, it could have been from these expeditions. There is no reason to assume it was actually from the Ark
