Where are the Published Reports?

Today we are fortunate to have many creation scientists working on projects to prove that creation occurred in six twenty-four hour days, and that the earth is only 6,000 years old. Numerous volumes have been written on this subject, and countless articles are available through their publications and on the internet.
These young earth creation science experts are confident that their works are accurate and truthful. Given their forcefulness in projecting their views, you would expect the truthfulness of their works to appear all over the world in publications dedicated to science.
However, the only place to find these articles and research papers is in their own magazines and web sites. If these articles are scientifically sound, they why don't they appear in any of the trade journals used by secular scientists? Why have I not seen an article on Noah's Flood causing the deposition of all the coal beds in the Ruhr district of Germany in any journals from the Geological Society of America? Why haven't theories of the extinction of the dinosaur in the Flood appeared in Journal of Paleontology? Why haven't I read about evidences of a worldwide Flood? If the science is sound, why not?
This is a question I do not have the answer for. However, one can imagine several possibilities. First, perhaps they have submitted their works, and they are turned down because they don't fit the accepted theories in the secular world. This would be a clear case of bias because you don't fit the established 'norm.' If this is the case, prove that you have been rejected based on your beliefs, and this issue goes away. The proof is in the validity of their science. Unfortunately for them, even a cursory glance at their work shows the shallowness of the scientific work, therefore they can't prove it based on the validity of their research.
Second, perhaps they have been submitted, but were rejected for not being sound scientifically. This is most likely for the articles that may have been submitted. If so, what was their response in rejecting your articles? We will never see these responses.
Third, perhaps they have not been submitted to these journals. Why not? Two possibilities. One, they know they will get rejected, thus why submit them. Two, they don't care to be a part of a secular publication. But why not? Surely your goal is to reach the world for Christ, so why not try to change the accepted theories of the day by replacing them with creation science theories supporting a young earth. Sure, you may be rejected, but after all, if your scientific principles are sound, then what's the problem?
The goal of a young earth creationist should be to convince the world, including other scientists, that the earth is young. You will never accomplish this goal by not publishing your work in the secular trade journals. Jesus was not willing that even one should perish. The scientists that you see as your enemy are souls to be won to Christ. Instead of carrying on your debate with old earth creationists who are already Christians, try to win souls of those who are not.
There is one final possibility. Creation scientists know they are hanging by a thread, trying to show a young earth, when the record in the rocks which God created testifies to a millions of years old earth. They don't submit their articles because they know they cannot convince the world of this, so they use only their own publications. They realize that their main goal is to prove a young earth to those who already believe in it, so they don't lose any more followers. In other words, they exist to strengthen the faith of believers in the young earth theory. This is probably the most correct answer to this question.
I commend them for their successes in strengthening people's faith. Anytime Christians are strengthened, the entire body of Christ benefits. But why not move beyond this and seek converts of the science community? They don't because they can't convince the scientific community of a young earth. Fortunately this is where the old earth creationist is best positioned to win souls. Together, we can win the world for Christ.
