A Tour of the Creation Museum: Introduction

This article is the first in a series of articles by "AiG Staff" writers promotes the young earth message contained in the Creation Museum.1
It starts with a personal story about Ken Ham and his idea for making the creation museum. It states:
"We live in an age when many Christians have elevated man's word above God's Word. So we strive to call the church back to biblical authority in every area."
Have Christian's elevated man's word by believing in an old earth? Not at all. What is young earth creationism? It is a specific interpretation of God's Word. As an interpretation made by man, it IS man's word! God's Word itself does not say, "The earth is 6,000 years old." As a Christian who is an old earth believer, I fully accept God's Word, but I interpret it differently. My interpretation is also "man's word," just as the YEC interpretation is "man's word." In reality, AiG, through the museum, is not seeking to call the church back to biblical authority, they are seeking to force their man-made interpretation upon the church.
The next section touts the many visitors that have come to the museum. The stated purpose of this series of articles is to provide a tour for those who cannot come and see the museum in person.
The author explains that the museum is designed to take people through the first eleven chapters of Genesis, obviously from a young earth perspective.
