The Animal with Two Life Cycles

     The 26 January 06 daily feature for the young earth creation science ministry Creation Moments discusses the jellyfish.

     The authors explain the two different life cycles of the jellyfish.  If you are interested, feel free to check out their article.  They give some other interesting tidbits, and say that they have sophisticated brain functions...that are only found in mammals and humans.

     They sum it up by saying "The jellyfish is a tribute to God's creativity and imagination. Even though the jellyfish appears to be one of the simplest forms of life on earth, it is also a mathematically precise hunter. Even this living bag of lukewarm Jell-O praises God through its existence."  I agree that it is a tribute to God. 

     As Christians we should thank God for his creatures.  However, as is typical of Creation Moments claims, this is strictly a "God of the Gaps" type argument.  Presenting such an argument in defense of creation is a pointless exercise in futility...it will strengthen those who already believe, but will do nothing to argue for your position with the atheist or old earth creationist.
