Morris does a good job of answering this question from a Christian perspective, and he avoids any issues related to the age of the earth. Christians everywhere should oppose human cloning. Hopefully, we will be effective in getting human cloning outlawed.
Unfortunately, this will merely drive the scientists who want to do it to other countries where it is legal, and they will probably clone humans eventually. To learn more about cloning, see Cloning.
