This question was published in Dr. John's Q&A by John Morris in April 2000. Morris uses the calculations of the volume of wood, and assuming that only Noah and his sons did the work, he calculates that it would have only taken them 65 years to construct the ark. I agree with Morris that this could be done. From an old earth creationist perspective, this issue has nothing to do with the age of the earth.
