This question was published in Dr. John's Q&A by John Morris in March 1997. Atheistic evolutionists, who operate strictly within the confines of natural science, argue that miracles violate these laws of science, and thus they are not possible. Yes, they do. However, God, as the lawmaker, can change or alter these as He sees fit. Morris does a good job of answering the mail on this issue.
Old earth creationists recognize the miracles that are in the Bible. Thus, this issue has no implications for the age of the earth debate.
