This short article aptly looks at the atheistic evolutionists marveling at the wonderful creative power of mother nature, through evolution.
While I agree with the author that the wonders of God's creation will never cease to amaze us Christians, this really boils down to a God of the Gaps type argument,1 which appeals not to reason and logic, but is an emotional argument based on our awe of the created object. As such, I agree that we should be in awe of our God, but the atheistic evolutionist will see this type of argument as an argument of weakness. An atheist is looking for cold, hard facts, not emotional appeals to the beauty of God's creation.
By all means, we should praise God for His creation, but we should refrain from using this type of argument in discussions with non-Christians.
