This article discusses a method for introducing the Bible account of creation, specifically the creation of Eve, into secular biology classes. Obviously, this is dated (1980) as you would be unable to pursue this line of reasoning today. The magazine's authors point to the similarities between the Genesis account, and the Aboriginal legend.
Aside from man being alone, and woman coming along, there are no similarities. Even in 1980, it would be a great stretch to imagine any similarities beyond these two. It is also odd that a biology class would even discuss Aboriginal legends and myths. I cannot imagine Australian schools being that different from the United States. Today, in 2006, we deal with cold, hard facts and scientific theories of origins, and not on myths.
