However, a change to the human timeline does not mean evolution is false. It only means it is being refined, or fine-tuned, to bring in more in line with new scientific discoveries.

Why would Christians be hostile to Biblical creation? - True, some Christians can be hostile towards those who do not hold to their viewpoint. But, look at the question...in reality, NO CHRISTIANS would be hostile to Biblical creation, since ALL CHRISTIANS believe in it. Biblical creation refers not only to the interpretation of God creating in 6 24-hour days, but it also refers to God creating over billions of years. CMI "assumes" that the YEC model is the only one that equates to "Biblical creation." This only shows their arrogance, as they believe they are right, and all other Christians are wrong.

 

Salter's Trilobite, a national fossil of Wales, is evidence for a young earth and biblical history - Not at all! It was found in Cambrian strata, and dates to about 510 million years. There is no evidence that it supports a young earth. To say that it is only 4,300 years old is to blindly ignore the scientific data for its age.
