Public Schools and the Bill Nye/Ken Ham Debate - Explores the possibility of public school science classes watching the debate. AiG gives ideas of how this could be done, and calls this a 'wonderfully unique opportunity.' Although OEM likes the idea that students would be exposed to some Biblical ideas, they would most likely come away thinking that the Bible is incompatible with modern science. While there is a potential for some good evangelism, the potential for harm to the church, by driving young people away from the Bible, is much greater. If Bill Nye wants a debate, he should do so with Hugh Ross of Reasons to Believe. That could provide a much greater positive impact for evangelism.
