Massive Modern Reefs--Finding Time to Grow - Yes, some reefs can grow fast. This reports on Eniwetok Atoll, claiming that this 4,000+ foot reef could have formed since Noah's Flood. What does the science say?  The first 20-60 feet of the reef took about 12,000 years to grow. The date for the reef at a depth of 130 feet, is about 280,000 years.*  Compared to this data, the YEC article presents no actual scientific data...only a claim that the reef could have been formed by the process of geothermal endo-upwelling.
