Tiny Time Bombs

     The 8 August 06 daily feature for the young earth creation science ministry Creation Moments claims that tiny pollen grains discovered in 600 million year old rocks is from conifer trees, which did not exist at the time.

     Unfortunately, the Creation Moments author is quoting from the studies of young earth creationist Clifford Burdick, whose works have largely been ignored and discredited, even by other young earth creationists.  There are several possible explanations for this anomaly.  These have already been discussed in another article on this website, which you can read by clicking here.

     Interestingly, another Burdick claim which has been thoroughly disproven still surfaces from time to time (the Moab Man).
